By placing an order or engaging our services, you agree to the terms applicable to your transaction. Any specific quotation, purchase order, or signed service agreement may contain additional terms.

2. Acceptance of Terms

By contacting us for a quotation, confirming an order, making a payment, or authorizing a service visit, you acknowledge that you have read and understood the applicable terms.

If you do not agree with these terms, please contact us before confirming your order or proceeding with the service.

3. Products and Services

Depending on the quotation and availability, our services may include:

  • Supply of CCTV cameras, DVRs, NVRs, hard drives, and accessories.
  • Installation, mounting, cabling, and configuration of CCTV systems.
  • Mobile application setup and remote viewing configuration.
  • Network integration and basic troubleshooting.
  • Annual Maintenance Contracts (AMC) and other agreed maintenance services.

The exact scope of work, number of cameras, equipment specifications, cable length, installation method, and deliverables will be determined by the approved quotation or written agreement.

4. Quotations and Orders

  • Quotations are based on the requirements and site information available at the time of preparation.
  • Prices, product availability, and delivery timelines may change until an order is confirmed, unless otherwise agreed in writing.
  • An order is considered confirmed when the required approval, purchase order, advance payment, or other agreed confirmation has been received.
  • Changes to the quantity, specifications, installation location, or scope of work may require a revised quotation.
  • Any applicable taxes, transportation, civil work, special access equipment, or additional accessories will be charged as specified in the quotation or agreed separately.

5. Pricing, Taxes, and Payment

Customers must make payments according to the schedule stated in the approved quotation, invoice, purchase order, or service agreement.

  • Applicable GST and other statutory charges will be handled as required by law and as stated in the invoice.
  • Advance payments, milestone payments, and balance payments must follow the agreed payment terms.
  • Additional work not included in the original quotation may attract additional charges after approval.
  • Any payment dispute should be communicated promptly with the relevant invoice or order details.
  • Late-payment charges or other remedies will apply only where agreed in the applicable contract and permitted by law.

6. Installation and Site Readiness

Customers are responsible for providing safe and reasonable access to the installation site, along with necessary permissions and coordination.

Unless specifically included in the quotation, the following may be outside the standard installation scope:

  • Civil work, wall repair, painting, false-ceiling restoration, and major drilling or structural alterations.
  • Additional electrical wiring, power backup, network infrastructure, or internet connectivity.
  • Scaffolding, lifts, special access equipment, or work at unusual heights.
  • Work requiring building-owner, society, landlord, or government permissions.

Delays caused by inaccessible locations, unsafe conditions, unavailable power or internet, weather, third-party work, or other circumstances beyond our reasonable control may affect the schedule. Any additional charges or revised timelines will be communicated where practicable.

7. Delivery and Availability

Delivery and installation dates are estimates unless a specific commitment has been confirmed in writing. Timelines may be affected by supplier availability, transportation, site readiness, weather, or other events outside our reasonable control.

If a specified product becomes unavailable, we will discuss suitable alternatives with the customer where possible. A substitute will not be treated as approved where the customer’s express approval is required.

8. Warranty and Product Support

Product warranty coverage is governed by the applicable manufacturer’s warranty, supplier terms, and any separate written warranty issued by Ganpati Infotech.

  • Warranty duration and coverage may differ by product and should be verified from the invoice or warranty documentation.
  • Warranty service may require the product invoice, serial number, and inspection by an authorized service provider.
  • Physical damage, liquid damage, electrical surges, misuse, unauthorized repairs, or improper installation may affect warranty coverage where excluded by the applicable warranty terms.
  • Software, mobile applications, internet connectivity, and third-party cloud services may be subject to separate provider terms.
  • Installation or labour charges for warranty-related visits will be governed by the applicable quotation, warranty, or service agreement.

Nothing in these terms limits any consumer rights or statutory remedies that cannot lawfully be excluded.

9. Returns, Replacement, and Cancellation

Requests for cancellation, return, or replacement must be made promptly and are subject to the applicable sales terms, product condition, manufacturer or supplier policy, and applicable law.

  • Customers should inspect delivered products and report visible damage or discrepancies as soon as reasonably possible.
  • Products may need to be unused, complete, and accompanied by their original packaging and invoice where required by the applicable return policy.
  • Special-order, configured, or installed equipment may be subject to different return conditions, where lawful and disclosed.
  • Approved refunds, replacements, and cancellation charges will be handled according to the applicable policy and legal requirements.
  • Any advance payment deduction or cancellation fee must be consistent with the agreed terms and applicable law.

Please contact us before returning any product. Do not send equipment back without receiving return instructions.

10. Annual Maintenance Contract (AMC)

AMC services, where purchased, are governed by the coverage, duration, visit schedule, exclusions, response commitments, and charges stated in the relevant AMC proposal or agreement.

Unless expressly included, AMC coverage may not extend to new equipment, consumables, hard-drive replacement, damage caused by external events, major rewiring, civil work, or repairs to third-party systems.

Customers should retain their AMC documentation and report service issues through the contact channel specified in their agreement.

11. Customer Responsibilities

Customers agree to:

  • Provide accurate contact, billing, and installation details.
  • Obtain necessary property, landlord, building, and other permissions before installation.
  • Ensure appropriate electrical supply and internet connectivity where required.
  • Keep account credentials, passwords, and remote-access details secure.
  • Use surveillance equipment lawfully and respect the privacy and rights of others.
  • Back up important recordings and data where necessary.
  • Provide a safe working environment for installation and service personnel.

12. CCTV Recording, Privacy, and Legal Compliance

CCTV systems may capture images, video, audio, or other information depending on the equipment and configuration. The customer is responsible for determining where cameras may lawfully be installed and how the resulting recordings are used, stored, accessed, and shared.

  • Cameras should not be positioned to unlawfully intrude upon private spaces or record people without any legally required notice or authorization.
  • Audio recording should be enabled only where lawful and appropriate.
  • Customers must manage access to recordings and comply with applicable privacy, data-protection, and surveillance requirements.
  • Ganpati Infotech does not provide legal advice about the permitted use of CCTV systems.

13. Internet, Software, and Remote Viewing

Remote viewing and mobile notifications may depend on the customer’s internet connection, router, mobile device, application, network configuration, and third-party services.

Ganpati Infotech cannot guarantee uninterrupted remote access, recording, notifications, or cloud availability where these depend on external networks, power supply, third-party platforms, or conditions beyond our reasonable control.

Customers are encouraged to use strong passwords, update supported devices and applications, and restrict access to authorized users.

14. Limitation of Liability

CCTV systems are intended to support monitoring and security. They cannot guarantee that theft, damage, unauthorized entry, or other incidents will be prevented or recorded in every circumstance.

To the extent permitted by applicable law, Ganpati Infotech is not responsible for interruptions or failures caused by power outages, internet failures, incorrect customer settings, third-party services, unauthorized access, equipment misuse, or events outside our reasonable control.

Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts liability where such exclusion or restriction is prohibited by law, including applicable consumer protections.

15. Intellectual Property and Website Use

Website text, graphics, logos, layouts, and other materials owned by Ganpati Infotech may not be copied, republished, or used commercially without permission, except where permitted by law.

Visitors must not misuse the website, attempt unauthorized access, interfere with its operation, or submit unlawful, misleading, or harmful content through its forms.

16. Third-Party Products and Services

Products and services supplied by third parties may be subject to their own terms, privacy policies, warranty conditions, and support procedures. Ganpati Infotech does not control third-party platforms and cannot guarantee their continued availability or performance.

17. Force Majeure

Neither party will be responsible for a delay caused by circumstances beyond its reasonable control, to the extent recognized by applicable law. Such circumstances may include natural disasters, severe weather, fire, public emergencies, transport disruptions, government restrictions, or significant supply-chain interruptions.

The affected party should communicate material delays when reasonably practicable and take reasonable steps to reduce their impact.

18. Changes to These Terms

Ganpati Infotech may update these website terms from time to time. Updated terms will be published on this page with a revised effective or last-updated date. Changes will not override specific written contractual commitments or rights protected by applicable law.

19. Governing Law and Disputes

These terms are intended to be governed by the laws of India. Any dispute will be addressed under applicable Indian law and by the courts or other forums having lawful jurisdiction. Nothing in this clause removes any mandatory rights available to a consumer under applicable law.
